This past weekend was Mumfest, a community event that draws tens of thousands of people to downtown New Bern each year… and the Craven County Democratic Party was there.

Craven County Democratic Party volunteers, proudly wearing our new t-shirts, gave out stickers and buttons, sold bumper stickers, and had conversations with hundreds of people from Craven County and the surrounding area about the American Dream values of the Democratic Party.

Thanks to Kate Blakefield, Trent Woods precinct chair, for the massive effort of coordinating our presence at Mumfest, and thanks to all of the volunteers who helped: making buttons or setting up our tent, talking with people as a booth volunteer, and helping us tear down at the end of Mumfest. Working together, we made a difference!
