Vote March 3rd!

2020 Primary Day is upon us!

Do you have a plan to vote?

Voting isn’t just a right, it’s a responsibility of citizenship. Every time we have an election, it’s our opportunity to influence the direction of our local, state, and federal government. The right to vote must be protected, but it must also be exercised.

  1. Make sure you’re registered to vote.
  2. Learn about the candidates.
  3. VOTE!

Some people just love the Election Day experience. We get that. There’s nothing quite like going into that booth on a Tuesday and being given that fancy “I Voted” sticker when you leave.

Election Day for the 2020 Primary election in North Carolina is Tuesday, March 3.  Polls are open from 6:30AM to 7:30PM.

“Voters will not be required to show photo ID for the March 3, 2020 primary election. In a December 31 order, a federal district court blocked North Carolina’s voter photo ID requirement from taking effect. The injunction will remain in place until further order of the court.”

To find your polling place, use the voter registration lookup form on the NCSBE website.

What if I have already voted?

Great!  There’s still more to do.  You can volunteer with Craven County Democrats and encourage the community to get out to vote, or you can volunteer with your precinct to hand out flyers and campaign materials.  We will still be active after the Primary to get people excited about the Election in November.
