Wainwright Dinner
Plan to join Craven County Democratic Party Friday, April 21, for its annual Wainwright Dinner, where we begin “Building a Brighter Blue Future.”
Invited speakers include US Rep. Don Davis, NC Attorney General Josh Stein and NC Democratic Party Chair Anderson Clayton. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at The Flame Catering and Banquet Center, 2301 Neuse Blvd., New Bern.
Each seat costs $50, but for $250, you and a guest can be a bronze sponsor (with a 1/4 page color ad in the program). A silver sponsorship garners four seats and a 1/2 page ad, and a gold sponsorship gives you a table in a prime location with seating for eight and a full page ad in the program.
The late Rep. William Wainwright served in the NC General Assembly from 1991 to his death in 2012, rising to become the first African American Speaker Pro Tem since reconstruction. His strong devotion to the Democratic Party and his record of service to the state led to the creation of Craven County Democrats’ major fundraiser and award banquet in his honor.
