Hurricane Florence Notice: Cancellations & Closings
As the forecasts tighten, it’s looking more and more likely that Hurricane Florence will make landfall in the Carolinas and have a major impact on Craven County. We strongly recommend that people regularly check the National Weather Service and local authorities and follow all issued advisories. We urge all Eastern North Carolina residents to prepare for the impending storm by stocking up on water, nonperishable food items, and any medications you may need. If you have neighbors who are elderly or who have trouble getting around, please check in on them and offer a helping hand to make sure they’re all set for the storm. Stay safe and dry during Florence.
